Traveling to Roatan, Honduras
Travel to Roatan and the Bay Islands of Honduras for a dive vacation you won’t soon forget!
We’ll greet you at Roatan’s international airport (RTB and from there it’s only a short trip by private bus to the landing, where a our boat will take you on the short ride to the small key where CoCo View Resort is located. You will then be shown to your oceanfront room, which may even be situated directly over the water, depending on the room type you booked.
Flying to Roatan
CoCo View Resort is situated on Roatan’s protected south shore, 35 miles off the mainland. Only 2.5 hours by air from the US, you can easily travel to Roatan; some U.S. airlines, United and Delta, as well as come Canadian Charters, offer direct flights to the island from Houston and Atlanta.

Coming & Going
When traveling to Honduras, visitors will need a passport with a minimum of 6 months validity remaining before the passport expires, subject to change. Please double check requirements with an appropriate government source prior to travel. Non-U.S. citizens should check with their airline or Honduran Consulate for visa requirements.
When leaving Roatan, you must also pay a departure tax of approximately $39 USD (subject to change). Cash is the only acceptable form of payment. |
