It’s been said that travelers come to Roatan because of the tropical climate and stay because of the warmth and friendliness of the island’s diverse people. Roatan’s rich diversity of people and cultures results in a unique blend of music, dance, and entertainment styles. The Garifunas, for example, have a fascinating culture, preserving their African roots and entertaining tourists with colorful native costumes and beating drums.
We are proud of this diversity and love to showcase island talent at our hotel, so we invite local musicians and dancers to CoCo View Resort weekly in order to bring you the best of “island style” entertainment. You’ll enjoy anything from fire dancers, to singer songwriters, to traditional dance performances – all at CoCo View.
There is no extra charge for entertainment (but tipping the performers is always welcome).
And of course, sitting around the bar and talking about your day underwater is plenty of fun too!
